The 2025 DAIWA MORETHAN.J 106M is a medium-power 2-piece spinning rod, built for ultra-long-distance surf casting targeting sea bass on open wide beaches. At only 150g, it maintains light all-day handling while delivering stable casting momentum and reliable fighting backbone.
Constructed with premium 99% HVF Nano carbon blank, X45 anti-torsion weave and a fast taper, the blank provides crisp lure control and consistent hook-setting power. It handles lures from 10g to 50g and PE lines rated 0.8–2.0# with ease. Ideal for medium minnows, sinking pencils, soft plastics and standard metal jigs on long sandy surf beaches, wide estuary channels and shallow offshore flats.
